Naisby | Child Portraits

It was a lovely sunny day in Furnace taking photos of two beautiful little girls.  They were having a great time playing in the garden and collecting shells down by the water.

Cameron | Child Portraits

It may have been blowing a hooly outside but that didn't dampen this pair's spirits as they had a good time playing in the back garden.

(Love this last one)

Mackenzie | Kid Portraits

It was a lovely and cloudy morning at Kilmory Castle, Argyll.  The kids were running around mad and having a great time.  The walk and the gardens - as always - provided the perfect setting to capture both candid and fun poser photos. I love doing this kind of shoot and look forward to my next clients coming to see me!

Hayleigh & Kevin | Engagement

For Hayleigh & Kevin's engagement session we headed to Ardrishaig, Argyll to take some shots along the Crinan canal and down on the beach.  We were very fortunate as we there was a beautiful morning sun.  I had a great time photographing these guys and having gone to school with Hayleigh, it was nice to see how our lives had changed after going away to study, I can’t wait for the big day!

Congratulations guys! I wish you all the best.

"Jordan was very good at communicating and arranging our engagement photography shoot through email and phone conversations. On the day he was brilliant at seeking out spaces for some staged shots and then quietly followed us on our journey and got some wonderful natural shots. All in all he is a brilliant photographer with a bright future ahead of him and we will be sure to use him again for future shoots!" - Hayleigh

Hello World!

www.jyphotos.co.uk

My first ever post to kick off my blog!

It's been an exciting couple of months with plenty happening photographically.  I would just like to say thank you so much to those of you who viewed my Facebook page and LIKED it.

I am  looking forward to a fashion shoot coming up, working with some of the girls studying hairdressing at a local college. They have some very interesting and dark ideas which I can't wait to get started on! Will be a very action packed day though with plenty of different locations and LOADS of models. haha

I have been doing some recent work based on the iconic image of Michael Caine photographed by David Baillie, check it out!

Would love to know what you think! :)
