The good old days | Photo Restoration

Being skilled at photo editing through years of playing with Photoshop, I decided to have a go at photo restoration. I quickly found that all my previous experience and skills were transferable and so was able to restore some precious memories and breathe life back into these old photos.

Here is an example of some images restored by me.

Donnie & Isobel | 50th Wedding Anniversary

It was an absolutely breathtaking day up at Crear, with a perfectly clear sky and stunning view of Jura and Gigha. This provided the perfect setting for some portraits. It was a lovely celebration that really highlighted the love that not only Donnie and Isobel have for each other, but also that which the family and friends share. I was made very welcome and comfortable meaning the photos flowed nicely with a very relaxed feel.

Gemma & John | Wedding

Gemma and John's wedding took place in Ardrishaig church, Argyll. It may have been a cloudy day but that didn't stop the fun from rolling on throughout the day. I just loved photographing these two as they were a lot of fun. I had a great day at their wedding and a brilliant time photographing the reception.

Gemma and john have since had a wee baby, Innes, I can't wait to photograph him!

David and Hazel | Wedding

David and Hazel chose the lovely Argyll Hotel in the town of Inveraray, Argyll for their wedding venue. I just loved photographing this couple. They were fun as well as a good laugh.

I had a brilliant time shooting this wedding and despite the horrible weather the rain stopped just long enough for us to get some cracking portraits in front of the loch. I have delivered the couple a beautiful leather album and look forward to the next time we meet.

Gregg and Louise | Wedding

Louise, Greg and their two boys live in the same village as I, so shooting their wedding was a lot of fun as it was full of friendly faces. The couple were very relaxed which made it easy for me to get some brilliant shots!

The wedding was held in the magnificent "Eilean Donan Castle" which is one of the best wedding venues I have been to and look forward to going back again!

I did some portraits of their boys a short while afterwards.
I wish you all the best guys!

Wedding Magazine | Feature

I was very happy when I came across one of my photos in the "Best Scottish Wedding" Magazine. Must mean I am heading in the right direction!
